Creating smoke effect with Adobe Dimension

03/06/2021

Since Dimension doesn't support any sort of simulations such as VDB, I tried to create smoke/cloud effect with other ways. In Dimension, I used image of a cloud as Opacity map on a Plane. The results were surprisingly good even though you have some limitations since it's basically a 2D image in a 3D environment! Other objects such Spheres helps a bit if you want to have some curvature in your smoke effect.

You can read the full tutorial from here!
